This Privacy Notice explains how Aspect.33 GmbH collects and uses personal data when you visit our website, contact us, purchase or participate in an offering, or subscribe to our communications.

Our services are offered internationally, online and in person. We process personal data primarily under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. Where another privacy law applies to a particular activity, including the UK GDPR or an applicable United States state privacy law, we also comply with its mandatory requirements.

2. What personal data we collect

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

your name, email address, telephone number and billing address;

your occupation, professional role or organisation;

information submitted through an enquiry, application, booking or intake form;

appointment, registration and attendance information;

purchase, payment and subscription information;

emails, messages, voice notes and files you send;

information you choose to share during a private session or immersion;

feedback or testimonials you provide; and

technical information such as your IP address, device, browser, approximate location, pages visited and cookie or similar identifiers.

Because of the nature of our services, you may choose to disclose information about your relationships, emotional experiences, wellbeing or personal circumstances.

Depending on what you choose to share, some of this information may be regarded as sensitive personal data under Swiss law or special-category personal data under UK or EU data-protection law.

We use such information only where it is relevant to the service or interaction for which it was provided.

Please do not provide personal data about another person unless you are entitled to do so.

3. How and why we use personal data

We may use personal data to:

respond to enquiries and arrange initial conversations;

assess whether an offering may be appropriate;

deliver individual sessions and private immersions;

administer New Moon Retreats and other group events;

manage appointments, bookings, subscriptions, payments and refunds;

send Zoom links, venue information and other service communications;

provide agreed between-session and integration support;

maintain contractual, financial and administrative records;

send marketing communications where permitted;

maintain the security and operation of our website and services;

understand website use and improve our services;

measure analytics or advertising activity where such technologies are enabled and permitted;

comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements; and

establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

We do not sell any personal data.

4. Legal grounds

Under Swiss law, we process personal data in accordance with applicable data-protection requirements, including the principles of lawfulness, proportionality, transparency, purpose limitation and data security.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, the legal basis depends on why we are using the personal data.

We generally rely on:

contract or steps taken at your request before entering into a contract when responding to a request to work with us, managing bookings and payments, and delivering agreed services or events;

legitimate interests where appropriate for operating and protecting our business, responding to enquiries, maintaining appropriate business records, improving our services and establishing or defending legal claims;

legal obligations where we need to retain or use information for tax, accounting or other legal requirements; and

consent where consent is required or is the appropriate basis, including for certain marketing, cookies or similar technologies.

If UK or EU data-protection law applies and information you choose to provide includes special-category personal data, additional legal requirements may apply.

Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

Where an applicable United States state privacy law applies to our activities, additional privacy requirements and rights may apply. These may include requirements relating to transparency, access, correction or deletion of personal data, opt-out rights and, in some circumstances, consent for the processing of sensitive personal data.

5. Private sessions and immersions

Individual sessions and private immersions may be delivered through Zoom or in person.

We use information shared during the engagement to prepare for and deliver the agreed work, maintain continuity and provide associated support.

Private information will not be shared with an employer, company, family office, family member or other third party without your prior agreement, except where disclosure is required or permitted by law or where we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to protect someone's life or physical safety.

Private sessions are not recorded unless everyone involved agrees in advance.

6. New Moon Retreats and other group events

New Moon Retreats are generally delivered online through Zoom and may be purchased individually or through a monthly subscription.

New Moon Retreat attendees do not participate verbally and are not required to use their camera or microphone. You may change your Zoom profile name before joining if you do not wish your usual name to be visible to other attendees.

Changing your profile name does not make you fully anonymous to Aspect.33 GmbH, Zoom or relevant booking, payment or registration services.

We may also offer other online or in-person group events. The relevant booking information will explain whether attendees participate and whether an event may be recorded.

Where attendee participation is permitted, information shared by attendees is voluntary. Although attendees may be asked to respect the privacy of others, we cannot guarantee confidentiality between participants.

Attendees must not record or share another person's contribution without permission.

7. Recordings

A New Moon Retreat or another group event may be recorded where this is clearly explained before booking or participation.

New Moon Retreat recordings are intended to contain only the material presented by Isabel Styles. We take reasonable steps to avoid including attendee names, images, voices or other identifying information.

If another group event includes attendee participation and an attendee's name, image, voice or contribution may be included in a recording, attendees will be informed in advance and consent will be obtained where required.

Recordings supplied to attendees are for personal use and must not be copied or distributed without permission.

8. Service providers and sharing

We use, or may use, third-party services to help operate and deliver our business, including:

website hosting and forms, such as Squarespace;

appointment scheduling, such as Calendly;

online sessions and events, such as Zoom;

payments and subscriptions, such as Stripe or Worldpay;

email communications and newsletters, such as Flodesk;

email and messaging, such as Proton Mail, Microsoft Outlook, WhatsApp or Threema; and

accounting, legal and other professional services.

We may also use analytics or advertising technologies. Where these are enabled, their use will be subject to applicable cookie, privacy and consent requirements.

Third parties may process personal data on our behalf or under their own legal responsibilities, depending on the service and the circumstances. Their own privacy notices and data-processing terms may also apply.

We may also disclose personal data where required by law or in connection with a sale, restructuring, merger or transfer of all or part of the business.

9. Cookies and analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies.

Essential technologies may be used for purposes such as website security, navigation, forms, payments and remembering privacy choices.

If non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies are enabled, we use consent or other privacy controls where required by applicable law.

10. International processing

We work with clients internationally and use third-party technology services to operate our business. As a result, personal data may be processed in Switzerland and in other countries, including the United Kingdom, countries within the European Economic Area and the United States.

This may occur when we use services such as Squarespace, Calendly, Zoom, Stripe or Worldpay, Flodesk, Proton Mail, Microsoft Outlook, WhatsApp or Threema.

The locations in which personal data is processed and the arrangements that apply to international transfers depend on the particular service provider and may change as providers update their infrastructure and sub-processors.

Different legal rules may apply to international transfers depending on the destination country and the recipient.

You may contact us if you would like information about the third-party service relevant to your interaction with us.

11. How long we keep personal data

We retain personal data for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to provide services, manage our relationship with you, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal and accounting obligations, and establish or defend legal claims.

Retention periods therefore vary depending on the type of information and why we hold it.

When personal data is no longer reasonably required, it may be deleted or anonymised, subject to applicable legal-retention requirements and ordinary backup cycles.

Certain contracts, invoices and financial records may need to be retained for periods required by Swiss law.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by contacting us.

You may still receive communications that are necessary in connection with an active enquiry, booking, purchase, subscription or engagement.

15. Children

Our website and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over.

We do not knowingly offer services to or intentionally collect personal data from anyone under 18.

We may update this Privacy Notice when our services, technology providers or legal requirements change.
